Indonesia not the richest country, not the best country, and have many problem in every aspect especially in the goverment, development, education, rule violation, and most important the human. Ya, the human. The human who often break the rule, not fulfill their promise (especially the goverment members *cough, goverment leader *cough again), and many bad things happen. But why we the Indonesian people and even the tourist and people from other country love Indonesia? Here are the list about what the things that make we love Indonesia.
1. Indonesian people is very friendly. Maybe people from other country will feel a bit weird if they walk in the street and suddenly there Indonesian people who ask some random question or talk like to their friend. Example, “Hello Mr, How are You” if there stranger walk pass them. Or “Mau Kemana Mr? (Where you will go?)”, or anything random things.
Ya, Indonesian people always like Bule “stranger (tourist from other country)”. If they see Bule with they own eyes, they will suddenly talk to their friend or other people around them and saying “Eh ada Bule tuh (hey look, there stranger)”. What do you think Bules? You are thinking this weird?
But that the first reason why Indonesian or tourist love Indonesia, because their friendly attitude. The fact that i know Indonesia is the most friendly country in the world. Their friendly attitude not just to the Bule but to other Indonesia people. Example when you traveling with public transportation like angkot (car for bring a lot passenger to place with many route), or train you will often see people who not know each other, not family or friend will talk freely to the other.
Some question which often ask by other people is “Where will you go?”, “You alone?”, and “Where are you from (address)?”. So good right? There many kind person in Indonesia, you will never find that at other country i bet. So you never feel alone on travel and will often know new people on public transportation. But you still must careful because not all of them is kind person maybe there criminal between them, but calm down that barely happen because Indonesian people is the real kind person.
2. Has many tour destination. From city, river, sea, beach, mountain, cauldron, history estate place, museum, food tour destination, fashion tour destination, shopping tour destination etc there in Indonesia. You just go from Sumatera to Papua for find anything destination you want.
If you really like beach you can come to Bali or Papua which have Raja Ampat the most prestige place for diving. If you like mountain you will see many in Java Island, Sumatera and other Island. If you like food you will find many kind of food that different from one province, town, or place to another. Example in Bandung, capital of West Java you will find food, fashion, parks, nature tours and other things like in paradise.
On weekend in Bandung you will see many car with Jakarta’s plat number and make Bandung busy because they looking for delicious foods, fashionable fashion which cheap and cool of course, and other tour destination.
Eventhough Indonesian GDP is very small compare to other developing country like, Malaysia, Brunei, and other but Indonesian rich with nature because has a thousand islands, hundreds beach, hundreds mountain, thousand culture, hundreds language etc. So actually Indonesia in the richest country in the world.
3. Very high religion tolerant. In Indonesia, Islam, Christian (Protestant or Catholic), Buddha, Hindu, and other religion can live in peace. In fact you can see church and mosque side by side but there not quarrel. In the moment in other country like USA very afraid of Muslims (Islam), and even hate and won’t there Muslims in their country, but in Indonesia for a long time the difference of religions never bother us. Although ever happen conflic of one religion and other but we can eclipsed that and not become the serious problem.
Eventhough Indonesia have biggest Muslims populations in the world but many Christian hospital or school here. Eventhough like that, in Christian hospitals you can see many Muslims patient or Muslim employee, in Christian school you can see one or two Muslims student study there. Or in regular school (not Muslim or Christian school), you can see they compete and study without problem because their religion.
We Muslims never afraid or hate to Christians, Christians never afraid or hate to Muslims, other religion too never afraid with other religion. That is very touching right?
Actually there many things that make me love Indonesia and make Indonesian people proud to be Indonesian but because this is my limit so i finish now. What do you think guys?
